Glasgow’s oldest restaurant, and a much loved institution, Rogano has been famed worldwide for its seafood and ambience since 1876. Refurbished to match the style of the great Cunard liner ‘Queen Mary’ in 1935 diners can still enjoy its art deco elegance and relaxed atmosphere. If you’re looking for luxurious classic seafood you won’t be disappointed; the menu features lobster, oysters, scallops and more. For those who prefer turf to surf there are also plenty of meaty and veggie delights, look out for roasted breast of guinea fowl with salsify, roast shallot and shitake mushroom casserole or their 28 day aged Aberdeen Angus fillet or sirloin cooked as you like it. As well as the main restaurant customers can also dine in Café Rogano in the basement, suggested as the perfect ‘introduction to fine dining’. For a quick bite a selection of sandwiches and main courses are available in the bar.
